Breedlove Land Planning was a critical player in the success of the new Coahulla Creek High School in Whitfield County, Georgia. Now, as reported in the Dalton Daily Citizen, the newly completed stadium complex will be the stage for a spectacular National Football League event. “The Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans will hold a joint practice on Monday, Aug. 6, at Coahulla Creek. There will be a walk-through from 11:10 to 11:55 a.m., which will be closed to the public, and a practice session for fans to watch from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. The event will be free… and there will likely be anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 fans at the practice.” Breedlove Land Planning provided site design services for the entire school campus.
The Daily Press of Dalton, Georgia has posted video of Project Manager Keith Burran explaining construction operations for the new Whitfield County high school. Mr. Burran covers some of the sustainable aspects of the new facility, which is set to open in 2011. Breedlove Land Planning provided land planning and site design services for this new school, athletics and stadium complex.
Coahulla Creek High School is currently under construction in Whitfield County, Georgia. Breedlove Land Planning provided complete site design services for this new 95 acre campus nestled in the scenic ridge and valley geologic providence of the state, including this soil filled gabion retaining wall designed to protect existing trees and a riparian corridor. A permanent seed mix was specifically tailored to provide the plant façade for this living wall. The school is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2011.
