Last week Veteran’s Day was commemorated at the Walk of Heroes Veterans War Memorial in Rockdale County. The program was highlighted by an inspiring keynote address by Command Sergeant Major Ronald T. Riling of the U.S. Army Forces Command, who recognized and honored the service of all United States Veterans. You can learn more about the Walk of Heroes, including donor opportunities, here and Breedlove Land Planning’s continued involved with this not for profit organization here.
The public is invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at 11:00am at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This annual observance is held to thank the men and women who have served honorably in the military, during wartime or peacetime, and to memorialize the fallen heroes who have sacrificed their lives to protect our nation. Breedlove Land Planning is proud to have designed the Fallen Heroes Memorial and would like to recognize all those who serve our country.
Breedlove Land Planning is pleased to announce that it has worked to secure a contract with the Georgia Tech IMAGE Lab to provide 3D animation services for the full modeling of the Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Park. The IMAGINE (Interactive Media Architecture Group in Education) Lab “is composed of a group of researchers and students with a mission of serving the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) community by providing exemplary applications of cutting edge, architectural visualization technologies and to students in the use of these technologies”. IMAGINE Lab will work directly for the Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Park Foundation to provide a realistic 3D visualization of the master plan designed by Breedlove Land Planning.
