Groundbreaking for the Georgia Department of Public Safety Headquarters

Breedlove Land Planning was pleased to join Governor Brian Kemp, the First Lady, Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, Speaker of House David Ralston, Commissioner Colonel Christopher Wright, the brave men and women of the Georgia State Patrol and the employees of the Georgia Department of Public Safety at the August 19th 2021 groundbreaking of the new DPS headquarters building. As part of the SSOE/Stevens & Wilkinson team, Breedlove Land Planning is the landscape architect and civil engineer for this remarkable project. The scope consists of a new headquarters building, gatehouse and entry to the State complex, parking deck, outdoor plazas and patios and most importantly a memorial to the fallen officers of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Turner Construction begins land disturbance this week on this $55 million project managed by the Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission.
