Recently, the University of Georgia Special Collections Library rainwater cistern, designed by Breedlove Land Planning, was installed on site. This cistern has a holding capacity of over 100,000 gallons and will treat stormwater pollutants, provide non-potable irrigation water for the 3+ acre site and will even provide water for a future campus project not yet under construction. The building, designed by Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, is attempting LEED Gold certification and is one of approximately two dozen LEED projects Breedlove has provided site design services for.
