Recently Breedlove Land Planning was proud to join Smith Dalia Architects, Impact Development Management, St. Joseph’s Health System and the employees of Mercy Care Medical Clinic for the dedication of the new McAuley Center in Atlanta, Georgia. As Atlanta’s only federally qualified heath care program for the homeless, Mercy Care is “furthering the healing ministry of the Sisters of Mercy… by providing compassionate, clinically excellent healthcare in the spirit of loving service to those in need, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.” Their new clinic and office building, with site design by BLP, will help meet and expand this vital mission. Bishop Joel Konzen of the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta was present to provide prayer, reflection and a blessing with holy water for the new facility.
