Georgia State University’s Alpharetta Campus Labs and Student Learning Center opened this month, bringing much needed science labs to the campus and eliminating the need for offsite lab work by the university’s Perimeter College students. The two-story building provides space for two biology and two chemistry labs, and is connected via a two level corridor to the existing GSU Alpharetta Campus building.
The project also added a Student Learning Center, and reconfigured office spaces so that student organizations and departments have dedicated space on the Alpharetta campus.
Breedlove Land Planning provided site design services, which included reconfiguring a portion of the parking lot and the site utilities to accommodate the addition. The site plan also includes plans for a future addition with the same footprint that would be a mirror image of this project.
