Breedlove Land Planning Volunteers to Help Educate Students about Landscape Architecture

Over the last couple months, the firm of Stevens & Wilkinson has been volunteering materials, time and staff to help teach young students at Centennial Place Elementary about architecture and design as part of the AIA Atlanta Discover Architecture after school program.  This month, Breedlove Land Planning’s Alan Wieczynski, RLA, LEED AP BD+C, was invited as a guest to talk to students about landscape architecture and the profession’s role.  Fourteen students learned about what landscape architects do, the projects they design and their role in shaping our built environment.  The students also participated in a land planning exercise for their ‘dream house’ and made outdoor model components that will accompany their final projects.
