On October 2nd, 2009, the Mother Goose Building on the campus of The Paideia School was the tragic victim of arson. This historical old victorian style home was used by the campus staff and students in a variety of ways. It’s replacement, designed by Perkins + Will architects, has just been successfully permitted through the City of Atlanta and general contractor Brassfield & Gorrie has already begun to reconstruct this campus centerpiece. Breedlove Land Planning provided site design services for the project including a complete overhaul of the site fire protection system to bring the new building up to code. The project will seek LEED certification.
