Congratulations to Kyle Webb, Professional Engineer

Congratulations to Kyle Webb, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, for becoming a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia.  Kyle joined Breedlove Land Planning as an intern in the summer of 2006 and returned in 2007 for a position as an engineer in training.  Since then, he has been involved in dozens of projects at a variety of scales, from 1/3 acre parks to $45 million dollar school campuses.  This achievement recognizes his hard work, dedication to the field and passion for excellence.  Job well done!

Zoo Atlanta Sun Bears In Action

While recently performing a construction observation visit for a soon-to-be completed Zoo Atlanta project, Breedlove Land Planning designer Kyle Webb, E.I.T, LEED AP BD+C shot a video of a Malaysian sun bear playing in its habitat.  Breedlove Land Planning was part of The Epsten Group design team for both phases of the carnivore exhibit renovation project, which included this habitat.  Zoo Atlanta will soon unveil the second phase and open it to the public.

Kyle Webb Guest Lecturer at University of Georgia

More Univeristy of Georgia related news:  BLP employee and UGA alumni Kyle Webb, E.I.T., LEED AP BD+C, spoke to the UGA Engineering Freshman Design class about the land planning profession this month.  His presentation discussed responsibilities and tasks required of a new graduate in an office such as Breedlove Land Planning, highlighted several design projects such as Coahulla Creek High School and the UGA Special Collections Library, and explained how the UGA Engineering Department prepares students to excel in the  professional design community.  A host of Breedlove Land Planning professionals regularly lecture at UGA and other schools, for community and non-profit groups and at conferences and professional events.

Kyle Webb Named to Oconee Basin Advisory Council

Breedlove Land Planning is proud to announce that Kyle Webb, E.I.T., LEED AP BD+C, has recently been appointed as a member to the Oconee Basin Advisory Council.  The Oconee Basin is one of the six major basins represented in the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District.  The District encompasses fifteen counties within the Metro-Atlanta region and serves to develop regionally specific stormwater, wastewater and water supply and conservation management plans.  For more information regarding the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District and its purpose, visit www.northgeorgiawater.org.
